There are many kinds in dining with comes to cruises. The cruises have offered different kinds of dining experience to its passengers. They have different types of dining; they have the traditional dining, the regular dining, room service dining, and others. The crew people in the ship will always ask you what your preference is when it comes to dining.  

 

The cuisines that mostly the cruise ships serve depends on which countries they are places that they are going to visit such as like if the cruise destination is going to Hawaii, they will be having Hawaiian foods or if the destination is at the Mediterranean, then the theme of the foods that is being served or offered are Mediterranean. The menus of the cuisines that are being served, cooked and offered are based on the destinations of the cruise ships. They also have the traditional foods that you were used to but mostly its menus are being changed to where they are going to. The ships don’t have one dining place or restaurants but they have plenty of it for all the passengers.

 

They have done this for all types of passengers that would want to dine. To accommodate all the passengers in the cruise ships, they usually have two seating the first seating happens six in the evening and the second seating happens eight in the evening.  They have the regular dining, the fine dining, and the specialty dining, and what they call the outside dining, where you can have a dining experience to sit in one of the patios of the ships and marvel at the view of the ocean while eating your favorite meals. They also have the services being offered such as room services and afternoon services.

 

The regular dining are the ones that you see with the usual meals and with no restrictions when it comes to dress code and the time you would want to go there. You can dine here anytime you feel like going from the time they open until the time they closes. This is the dining place you would want to go if you feel like eating anytime. They also offer the buffet style of dining. They have numerous restaurants on board that you can go to when it comes to the regular dining. Some of these regular dining restaurants are open twenty four hours for its buffet, they also have the usual food like burger and hotdogs, some also have the pizza parlor, the ice cream bar and the wine bar and also a café which is also open twenty four hours.

 

They The fine dining restaurant is something that you should be prepared for, they are the same restaurants that you see in your places, and you go there in formal attire and with reservations and drink the best wines. You have to check on first for the proper dress code to each of the restaurants that you are going to dine with, there are some who would prefer for you to dress formally or if it’s okay if it’s just casual. Check on the list on which you can dress up formally or not, it would be much better if you know where and when so that you wouldn’t be going from one restaurant to another just because you didn’t dress appropriately for that restaurant.

 

The specialty dining that they call is dining in a restaurant which just serves its best and finest food, this is also a fine dining place to eat. Example for this is a steak restaurant, they will only serve steaks or if the restaurant’s specialty is pasta, they serve different kinds of pasta. You will also find these kinds of restaurants in cruise ships. In dining in the patios of the ships, there are some cruise ships where some would dine there, there is even part of their patios that are for private functions only or someone that would want to reserve for that place. They also have fine dining in their patios; they have food of specific like if they would want sea foods, lobsters or steaks and many more.

 

There are different kinds of delicacies that you can choose from. There are some patios that you can fine dine with your friends or loved ones. In the afternoons they have snacks for those who would want to eat for that, the food for these afternoon delights that they have are light snacks such as cookies, pastries, finger foods, coffee and tea.

 

The room services that they have are open twenty four hours, you can order meals anytime of the day, the service crew that they have for their room service is always available. Mostly the breakfast meals in cruise ships are free when you board. This is their complimentary meal for you for choosing their cruise line for your vacation.

 

Most of the restaurants in the cruise ships are non-smoking places; if you want to smoke they have designated places in the cruise ships. Just make sure to take note of it whenever you are on board.
