Bermuda also known as The Bermuda Islands, located in the north eastern part of Florida and south of Halifax, Nova Scotia. This is the oldest British colony. The Bermuda has what they call parishes, they have nine parishes namely these are, Devonshire, Hamilton, Paget, Pembroke, St. Georges, Sandys, Smith’s, Southampton and Warwick.

The first cruise destination is the King’s Wharf is on the western part of Bermuda.
This was used to be a military station of the British Military during the Napoleonic war. Here the cruise ship will dock at the Royal Dock Navy Dockyard. The ship will stay at the dockyard the whole time, so you can also check out the eastern and western part of the island. There is also a ninety-minute guide tour from the Royal Naval Dockyard by the Bermuda Train Company.
The site of the military station is now a strip of shops, museums, restaurants, and The Bermuda Arts Center and the Bermuda Craft Market; this was used to be a barrel factory called the Old Cooperage. The best place to shop at King’s wharf is at the Clocktower Shopping Mall, they have goods that are from Great Britain and Ireland, cashmere sweaters, jackets, wools, porcelain, china, silverware and tableware. King’s wharf is also known for its rum cakes, you can buy them at its Bermuda Rum Cake Company. In the Craft Market showcases Bermuda’s own candle making, jewelry making, straw bags, banana dolls, and many more.
The Bermuda Maritime Museum is also a must to visit in the King’s Wharf; this museum showcases the rich marine life history of The Bermuda Islands. Also in the museum you will find the Dolphin Quest, this is the part of the museum where you will have the chance to interact with the dolphins. Check out also the Royal Naval Cemetery and the Scaur Hill Fort which was built in the 1860. This fort you will be able to have a spectacular view of The Royal Naval Dock and the Great Sound. You can also check out the world’s oldest cast-iron lighthouse, the Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse and also its bird sanctuary Heydon Trust, it has groves and gardens. You can also snorkel at the Snorkel Park; here you can rent the equipments or parasail in one of its tour.
The second cruise destination is Hamilton; this is one of the much loved places to visit in the Caribbean. This is the capital of The Bermuda Islands. This is famous for its landmark the nineteenth century neo-Gothic cathedral and also home to the Royal Yacht Club and Historical Museum. Cruise ships dock at the Front Street, this is also a famous place where myriads of its shops, restaurants and bars are located, and this is the major shopping area of the city. It is a ferry terminal and a parade area of the city. Hamilton is also home to The Bermuda Aquarium, Natural History Museum and Zoo, this zoo has displays of humpback whales, moray eels and many more. You can also find the 1710 residence that is refurbished to be one of Hamilton’s museums, the Verdmont Museum. The newly opened attraction in Hamilton is the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute, has the world’s first simulated dive in a capsule where you can intermingle with the displays of reefs, plants, marine life and the more than 30,000 shells. Hamilton is also the headquarters of the global management consulting and outsourcing company, Accenture and the international spirits company, Bacardi. The third cruise destination in The Bermuda islands is the town of St. Georges. This was the first capital of Bermuda in 1815, smaller that the city of Hamilton. This is a charming and a historical place. Here you can see the famous Unfinished Church which dates back from 1874, the church was never completed but still it is one of St. George’s famous landmarks. You can also find here the Fort St. Catherine, where you can see the whole village when you get to the fort. This fortress was built in 1614.
You can also hike through one of their golf courses and to the Tobacco Bay. You can also tour the place by its nineteenth century horse and buggy ride; they still have this as one of their transportations to get around town. Visit the St. George’s Historical Society Museum where it displays artifacts about the pre-Revolutionary War. Biking is also one of the things which you can do to get around when you get to these Bermuda destinations; they also have numerous glass bottom boats which can take you to view some coral reefs, shipwrecks and so on. There are countless beaches for you to snorkel, swim, surf and other water sports activities.
